Are you interested in learning how to quilt, or want to learn some new skills? No experience needed! Instructor Lisa Therrien will guide participants in the creation of sewn fabric squares that represent personal stories. The squares will be sashed, put together, and bound to create a community quilt. The finished quilt will be displayed at the Heritage Winooski Mill Museum in September, then will be permanently on display at the Heineberg.
This project is organized by the Heritage Winooski Mill Museum, with funding from the Vermont Arts Council.
Please join us for Senior Night at Centennial Field - and did we mention that it is also 25-cent Hot Dog Night?
$10 covers admission to the game, a free soda or water, and transportation to and from the game in our own, comfy, 12-passenger van.
Our van will depart the Heineberg promptly at 5:15 pm, returning approximately 9:15 pm.
Feeling curious about the work our City Council is doing? We welcome all community members to join Councilor Carpenter for a cup of coffee and conversation before lunch. Share your ideas, questions, concerns, and suggestions.
